surface curve relation

i wanted to know that is there way to connect surface nd curve.......

i want to get the deflection in the as we do  changes in the surface in all the direction u and v.

Have a look at the IsoCurve Component. which will give you a curve of constant U and a curve of constant V from a given point. Located in Curve Tab>Spline Section.
