algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

i'm trying to morph geometry within a bounding box to surface boxes which i've created over a surface.  what i want to do is have a variable height for the surface boxes, based on the distance between an independent point i've set, and each of the points on the divided surface.  what happens is that the geometry i'm trying to morph gets applied to each surface box many times, to each of the heights corresponding to the distances between the point and the divided surface points.

so, the question is, is it possble to set variable surface box heights based on some algorithmic input, or am i stuck with a single input for the heights across the whole surface?

thanks!

Hi Grant,

Yes it is possible. It's a data matching issue.
