Suggestion for new function: 2d-matrix data-tree sorting

Hi David,

I don’t know if there is a function like the ghx in the attachment(the grouped part). If no, it’d be nice if it is coming in the next version. It's not complicated but very useful. I was always working this way when a
2d-matrix tree structure is needed. I supposed many of us are using this logic
a lot.

It'd always be better if it's in 3 or 4 etc. dimensions.
