algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I took Generative Design and basic GH as a minor subject 2 years ago but since school is over, I dont know how to motivate and proceed my learning in GH. Tendency is that I get overwhelmed with a lot of patterns to the extent that I dont know which direction should I start.

I am an architect and coming from the AutoCAD generation (early 2000's), I still need to cope with the Parametric era. I wanted to master GH, Galapagos and Rabbit so I can make them my primary tools in design.

I know there are tons of individual exercises out there, but Id think after doing them, Id easily forget the process. How should I practice and progress? thanks

My advice would be to work on your own projects. You know them intimately and they matter to you. If you're supposed to finish task X by Friday, figure out how long it will take you to do the old-fashioned way. Then, until that deadline comes along you should try solving it programmatically. You probably won't succeed the first few times.

Also be sure to pick small projects. Don't try and make an algorithm which does everything you need to do. Make a new one for every sub-problem.
