Splitting Curves and Joining back to other curves

Hello, I am currently trying to generate new curves composed from original axes and the pieces of intersection between these axes and certain obstacles. Problem is the shatter components is behaving oddly, and also, I have no way to sort the wanted segments later, not even by length.

Any ideas?
