Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,I want to divide a mesh in two or more submeshes. I know this is possible in Rhino quite easy with MeshSplit. In Grasshopper I only found "Mesh Split Plane" which doesn't help me since my mesh is a bit more complex and I don't want to split the whole mesh, but only a part (please see example files)

Right now, I bake the mesh, then split it in Rhino, and rereference the pieces in GH. Can this done be easier?

Then I also would like to cap the holes in the split mesh. How could I do this (in GH or Rhino)?

Thanks a lot for the help.

Why don't you use "Mesh Difference"?

Because I didn't know, or better didn't find it. ;)

That is exactly what I wanted, thanks a lot.
