spline_Arrayed_through_a_field

Hello, I am in need of help with arraying a spline that was created in gh through a field that was generated through image sampling. The first image shows the intended spline; however, as more lines are created instead of arraying the spline, it connects each line together, which isn't what I want. Any help would be gladly appreciated this is for a school final project, where my partner and I are attempting to create a field of energy generating essentially "kelp" in the bay of fundy that would work through tidal changes.
