Spatial Deforming-Control

Hey,

I am using the spatial deforming tool to deform a polysurface. I have got plenty of points to generate the vectors. The deviation between the points and the projected points on the new polysurface are already quiet small. This is good.

But the deformation has got peaks. Unfortunately there is now posipillity to smooth the surface within the deformation component. 

Is there a other possibility to smooth the surface (without loosing the highpoints). Or how can I increase the iterations?

ps: The picture shows what I am looking for: The script in the RhnioScript101 works only for surfaces, not for polysurfaces
