Something wrongs with Surface split

Hi everyone and Happy New Year.

Fistly,I want to help from Surface split in Grasshopper. Because I try to trim between curves and surfaces in voronoi 3D but that have something wrongs with Surface split. Then I try to replace surfaces branches to same with curves, last nothing works differences. This definition doesn't make sence with Surface split?.
