Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello guys. Greeting from the far Argentina. I need some help. I started with Grasshopper 2 days ago and I have some problems to get what I want.

I have a solid model that it was sent to me from a supplier. (attached picture).

I have to convert that solid into a sort of Voronoi pattern (attached picture).

I followed some tutorial here in the forum but so far I could not obtain a tridimensional Voronoi of my solid model.

It is possible to receive some help from you guys¡? That would be terrific and very gratefull.

Best regards.

Pablo.

Thanks, that was so bloody obvious I could have tripped over it and hurt myself. :)
Another less obvious issue, Is Kangaroo going to be able to animate these 2 Letters falling onto a plane and breaking apart into its Vornoni pieces? ... (perhaps its better to use C4D)

Hello Kim

this question has multiple solutions which at the moment cant test. The shells density is affected by the number of points that are inside each geometry. So a slider in populate component to control the # points is a good start. If their volume is a parameter too then you can set a rule using larger, smaller or equal to achieve similar outcome to I compared to H. Galapagos could also be implemented to find the number of points for I in order the shells to have same volume like H.

edit* i had not seen Hyunsoo's answer

Kim: You don't have to test those little grey cells, shoveling snow is less demanding :)
I suppose spelling out the word GALAPAGOS would require running the script 9 times
Adding and averaging the volume of all letters then redistributing that number again through each letter followed by second computation.
Yikes! just thinking out loud.
