Solid Difference - revolved surface

I have two geometries, one is a loft between two ellipsis and the other one is a revolution  (image) for some reason i'm not sure i can't subtract the revolution from the loft.

I'm guessig its becouse its an untrimmed, i tried using a cap but it didn't help either.
