algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I need the angle between the red line on the World XY-plane and the blueish BREP in the point located on the origin.

I have searched and tried many things (normals, creating a mesh of the BREP and using uv-coordinates and google-ing a lot) and could not find anything that gave me the results i needed. Can anyone please help me? :)

well, you can't really have an angle to a BREP. you can have angles between planes, surfaces, lines, vectors.

try using the 'angle' component, under the 'vector/vector' menu. you will need to construct two vectors for th angle you wish to measure.

First of all, thanks Mark for the answer!

However, i still believe that there must be some way to measure the angles in this situation.

My point is that i am trying to retrieve the angle (or slope) of the lowest part of the BREP, which should give me the angle i need. So if i could create a vector on that specific part i should be done, but that is what gives me the all the trouble at the moment. I hope this image (sorry for my lack of MS Paint skills) can make it any clearer:

Is it what you are after?
