Shingle Panelization

I'm a rookie by any definition when it comes to Grasshopper and am looking for some assistance. I'm currently working on developing a grasshopper definition that allows me to array a series of shingle like panels on a curving surface. I've tried the panelization tools plug-in with no success and have come here. After fooling around with GH for a while I was able to get it to come pretty close to what I want. I've backwards engineered the process that was originally used to manually array the panels but can't seem to get it to stack the panels vertically. Not really knowing what I'm doing, I'm confused as to why intersect will give me all the intersections along the first horizontal base curve with a series of verticals, but adding a second horizontal curve confuses it. I could copy everything in my definition and duplicate it with the next horizontal curve, but would love to remove that step for each "course" of the shingles.
