Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have a square grid, and at every point of the grid, i've placed a circle.

I would like to trim the grid lines from the circles, so that the circles are joined together with the little bits of the grid (see desired_outcome.jpg)

I attempted to shatter the grid at the points of intersections with the circles, and select the line segments that sit outside the circle, but there seems to be a data structural problem where i end up with too many lines..

thanks for the help

Hi.

One easiest way is using "Trim with Regions" component.
