Shape of surface-wavy problem

Hi,

I would like to build a surface like in attached file. I already have formula that builds bricks on any surface I want but the shape of this surface is quite tricky for me. I thought of using attractor but it will not fade into straight line the way it should. Any ideas please? Please note that I'm quite new in grasshopper.
