series with multiplier

guys,

im sure this is very simple however i would very much appreciate it if someone could assist me in figuring out how to make a series of numbers, however insteading of adding increments, it multiplies the previous number by a given factor.

my end goal is diving a curve so that i can define the starting division segment/length and the end division segment/length, and it divides the curve between so that the divisions appear as a smooth transition.

there are a lot of VB scripts out there to do this with an attractor point, however some of them dont work with the latest version of GH.

if someone has a good example of this i would also appreciate it.
