Send/Receive via UDP to/from an external Device/IP

Hello,

I have a machine, that is not the one running GH, which responds to strings sent via UDP (followed by /n /r or /n/r). The setup works well via Putty.

Nevertheless, neither firefly nor ghowl components produce any output. It seems like I am not familiar enough with the protocol in general. Do these components only communicate with the local machine? How would I implement the /n /r or /n/r string?
