algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am interesting in learning how can we model a seamless Y-junction as shown in the attached image.

I am also curious to know how is the form generated.

See this as well - Mesh Machine + Topologizer + ExoW + WB + Karma (Load R file first).

Note: a TSpline is referenced as Brep. Not sure what Rhino does if TSplines are not loaded.

In general I would strongly advise to avoid attempting a liquid "exoskeleton"  LBS (Load Bearing Structure): a myriad of issues (thermal bridges, kitsch to the max, very expensive, ephemeral, rather laughable after fashion expires).

But you can attempt a triangulation on a blob skin AFTER fully understanding what is required in order to do a leak proof skin of that type in real-life (very few people can do that).

That said going for higher N of edges (quads etc) requires planarization that in most of real-life cases is a chimera (and a very costly one).
