Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Double clicking a script object gives me this error message:

and if I try right click/edit source then Rhino crashes

Also - on a different note. How do we make it so that our custom components (weaverbird, firefly, kangaroo, ghowl etc) don't get deleted whenever Grasshopper auto-updates ?

I have the same error 0.7.0046 Rhino 5

I have the latest realease of grasshopper and i still have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

note: Rhino 4.0 SR8 on a macbook with windows XP with grasshopper 0.8.0009

Rhino5 64bit?

I'm working on a better system for Grasshopper plugins. In the meantime, you /could/ put the custom components in a safe folder, then add an extra search folder to the GrasshopperDeveloperSettings. But that's hardly a solution you can give to users.

I've not had this problem with custom components or grasshopper plug-ins on grasshopper updates, (using Rhino 4 and latest WIP builds of GH)
