algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Same size circles on a surface

Hello everybody.
I'm a designer and from very long time I'm strong user of many kind 3d softwares .
But seems that this amazing software has escaped me.
Now  I'm starting with  "Grosshoper" and is fascinating  with the enormous potential.

Right now  I'm  trying to start with a model. And I will appreciate your advise and opinion.
the thing that i have in mind is a series of  circles of the same size covering a loft  surface, like the image that i attach.
I want to know from  your experience if something like this is possible. and of course i will love some advices.
