Running Integer Values with Octopus

Hi guys!

Does anyone know how to 'force' Octopus to run only slider integer values? For example, I have an integer slider between 0.1 and 0.9. My thought (please let me know if I am wrong) is when octopus runs, it chooses random numbers, such as 0.23, and chooses the closest slider value - in this case 0.2. 

This means that Octopus will run the same run several times which is unneeded calculation time. In the above case, it would potentially run 0.2 five times to account for 0.20, 0.21, 0.22, 0.23, 0.24? Whereas really, I would like for it to either chose 0.2 and 0.3 to limit the calculations.

Am I way off with my thought? Is there a work-around?
