run a command

Hi all, I am trying to create a custom vb component in Grasshopper to run Evalglare software (basically through MS DOS window and run a simulation analysis command, something like:

(evalglare -c contrast_sources.pic output_pic_image >results.txt), of this file

C:\DIVA\Daylight\Grasshopper\Projects\Images>0.1.pic that creates a check file of the Radiance format image

my coding knowledge is  limited, so explained steps or an example to follow will be highly appreciated.
