Rotation of shapes along free form curves

Hi everyone,

I am wondering how to rotate objects along a free form curve? What are some of the functions or scripts to use for altering the rotation degrees as the shape generates along the curve?

For example, I want to use the rotation expression from x+1 for the first 10 shapes to x+2 for the second 10 and so on...
