Rotating objects to Attractor points problem

Hello, I'm fairly new to Rhino and Grasshopper I have been having problems with getting my basic model on grid points to rotate and spin towards an/multiple attractor point/s.
i'm having trouble getting my object to even rotate on its own plane the whole thing goes crazy when I attach the XY plane into the rotating plane option. i cant think of any other option. do i have to re-do my design a different way?
please if anyone could help..
