Ribbed structure laser cut fabrication. notching, labels, intersection

Hi guys,

Currently working on a digital fabrication project for university. The idea is to laser cut the form I have created in grasshopper.

I have been given a script to create the notches, labels etc for the fabrication process itself.

After attempting to connect the supplied script with my limited current knowledge, I am having real trouble understanding what I believe is to be data tree some sort of parameters controlled by a path mapper(?) to make the script run successfully.

I'd really appreciate you guys help on this, grasshopper is a very new program to me...and I have a laser cut slot booked for Thursday morning...

Hmm...there's Evil (+ Chaos) in that definition. For instance: Lofting 28K lines ????

The whole def requires a major reconstruction in order to achieve some kind of efficiency.

Its not really clear what your strategy is to have this assembled.... which pieces would be cut from one piece of paper and folded or are these all individual pieces... you may want to try this its not exactly your weave but close... good luck!  http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/triaxial-waffle-structure

Thanks for your help guys, back to the drawing board I go to clean this up !
