Repeating a pattern in a shape

Hallo Grasshopper community,
I want to start saying thanks to whoever takes some of their time to read and maybe answer to this question.
I am fairly new to Grasshopper, but not to 3ddesign or to patch programming and I am happy I started experimenting with a program that shares both those aspects.

Now, my question:

I am trying to build large structures made of many tiny elements.
Here is a picture of one of the structures I designed element by element. It is a dull work and I would like to automatize it a bit so that I can make more experimentation and avoid my oc to explode!
The structure is geometrical and the lement should be repeated in a constant pattern...
How would you use grasshopper to do something like this?

I don't want anyone to do my work for me, but rather getting some hints/directions as what I tried so far was not really going in the right direction.
