algorithmic modeling for Rhino

removing projected curves

Hi all,

I have a U shaped surface. I have positioned curves on it's outer periphery and am projecting these onto the surface. The problem is that the line project on both "arms" of the U.

How could I cull the extra projection so as to only have the left side curves project of the left arm and right side curves project on the right arm?

Hey Peter,

thats a good one too. I guess it depends on his settings. Are there curves and lines on both sides of the u-geometrie, are they in the same distance to the traget u-geometrie? and so on and on....

I've attached files for my issue.

I don't think the g distance way would work in this case...
