Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am working on a university project in grasshopper. I am totally new in the program, and I have come to a problem that I cannot solve.

I have created to types of buildings, industry and housing, using pop2d-points. They are placed in the same area, which causes that some of the building a placed on top of each other.

My question is; how do I create a hierarchy so that the industry eliminates the houses?

I really hope some of you are able to help me, I must hand in my project in this Wednesday.

Thanks

Hi Nanna,

one way forward is to figure out which housing points are inside (or too close to) which industry points. If it's just distance from points, it can be done fairly easily and fairly fast (see attachment).
