algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Do you know if there is a way to delete Persistent data from Lines and other objects? It would greatly enhance computation time for sure.

It would only make things faster if you don't in fact need that data. If however it is needed in order to compute something else, then removing it after the fact will only save some memory, not processor cycles.

So this data doesn't affect processing time? I heard that for example in Processing it is possible to cmopute these thousands of thousands of particles, because they don't have data attached to them.

Thank you for reply.

It takes processor time to compute new data. It takes memory space to store data. If you need to compute data because it is part of a process, then you cannot make it faster by removing the data afterwards.

The above is not entirely true in the case of previewable data. Bounding boxes will be calculated, which takes additional time.

Just to wrap it up  - is it possible to remove data from objects?
