algorithmic modeling for Rhino

relocating the mesh's vertices

Hi everyone,

I am intending to relocate the vertices at the bottom level of a relaxed mesh to the points that are closest to each vertices on the base grid, just like the pic below. On rhino I just drag the mesh vertices onto the grid but I wonder how I could do so on grasshopper.

Hi.

If you want to connect the relexed mesh to the lower grid, then, this method will be better.

You'll need "Weaverbird" and "Meshedit" plug-ins.

but first of all, I want to keep the mesh and the grid separately, don'r really want to merge them together. secondly, I don't want to change any property of the below grid. 

I will keep trying!
