Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I am trying to convert a previous file i have that i made, it was a hexagon grid where i could adjust the opening sizes using attractor points, i wanted to convert the hexagons to squares so i replaced the "hexagon grid" with a "rectangular grid" and replaced the "polygon" with "square"

The attractor aspect still works fine  but the only problem is that the scaling is coming from the corner of the grid instead of the center. Shown in the first image. The second image is my definition. Im sure this is a simple fix but i cant figure out how to center the openings within the grid.

If someone could help I would really appreciate it.

Thank you

Hi.

Try to fix your rectangle's X & Y size input to "Domain" like the attached image. Best.

Hi,

so this is helpful for sizing the squares within the grid but it still doesnt center the scaling from corner points of the grid to the center and also doesnt allow me to use the attractor points.

im looking for a reaction like this but with squares instead of hexagons
