algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I have a set of planes following two curves. The main goal is having theses planes following the curves (already working), with rectangle-shaped holes in it. There would be more rectangles at the beggining, but big ones, and the last planes would be getting the opposite: Lots of rectangles in it but smaller.
I tried doing this with an attractor point. The rectangles must be growing in size getting farter from the point, but the attractor point also affects the number of points on each rectangle. So in the end, the first rectangles have few rectangles but bigger, and the last ones, more rectangles but smaller. I succeeded doing that.
The problem is just that I can't seem to have rectangles facing the base surfaces (extrude component). So the rectangles are now facing perpendicularly to the first plane, but I would want each rectangle being tangent from the planes they are on. I tried evalsurf component and closest point on surface, but I can't seem to be getting the right list...
I would be grateful if you guys can help me!
