Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am looking to rebuild a free form tube with the structure of a helix. I have been to "The geometry of bending" blogspot and reviewed the helix definitions Marten Nettelbladt has shared. I would like to have similar controls over the helix however I would like the helix to deform to a deformed tube or cylinder.

It looks as if Marten built the helix using trig components and that the outcome is a "pure helix"

Does anyone has any suggestions on how I would rebuild or apply a helix script to a deformed tube geometry. In a way I am wanting to apply it like you would apply a module to surface (IE Guilio Piacentino) But instead of assigning a module I am assigning the helix.

Any Help is appreciated.
