Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I was trying to build a shell structure in Rhino with Grasshopper, and I have some problem dealing with the trimmed surfaces.

The first build is the original surface and the second is the trimmed surface.

The control points of the two surface all the same, even with the command _Shrinksurface can Isogeometric analysis not yet process information about trimmed surfaces since the trimming in Rhino only takes place visually. The surfaces are only not displayed and accordingly not included in the parameterization, which renders them useless for the standard IGA.

I'm wondering if there are any way to rebuild the control points nets of the trimmed surface with the same geometry.

Thanks!
