Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello, I am Grasshopper's beginner user.

I am trying to mix the definitions that were shown on www.digitaltoolbox.info :

- Quick random height buildings : http://digitaltoolbox.info/grasshopper-basic/quick-random-height-bu...

- Quick perimeter block housing : http://digitaltoolbox.info/grasshopper-intermediate/quick-perimeter...

However i have problems with correct lofting with variable heigth and width of buildings.

Curves required for lofting are somehow duplicated and lofting is messy. Could anyone explain me where is the mistake and what kind of mistake is it ?

Thanks in advance.

Macku, problem in Your definition rely on different list formating. As You noticed connecting the 'param viewer' component some of them are formated like {0;0} another {0;0;0} and so on. The messy lofting is the effect of connecting two streams with the different branch's formats. Thus You have to use 'simplify tree' or 'path mapper' to give them same format. Then, rather then adding all lofts together You can use merge and loft'am'all on one go.
