random reduce non consecutive items

umm... something important i just realized.. the 'points' in the definition are actually breps, so all this has to happen not on 'points' but on breps.... i realized i could use david's definition if changed all my breps to numbers... then it works fine, but with breps its trickier. because i think i am getting confusing, i will just attach the def. below.
