Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

If I have a circle in Rhinoceros and I want to "take it" into Grasshopper, how can I do that? I need to know the radius of the circle in Rhinoceros doing it that way ...

I appreciate any help.

If I understood you correctly, you could use the "Curve" parameter to "take in" the curve from Rhinoceros to Grasshopper. Then a bit of "Area" component along with "Evaluate" will calculate the radius of your circle

Deconstruct Arc

 P = 2r \cdot \pi  (versus radius).

P=perimeter
R=radio

the circle is made in rhino and not in gh ...

all the answers above are referencing geometry in Rhino and not making circles in gh

danny boyes! ...

how to reference the circle from rhino into gh wasn't yet told ...

its a curve. use the curve param and right click it and select "set one curve"

thank you all! :)
