Questions on the join connection made up of a single column and multiple beams

Hi all,

I have a Karamba question on how to connect multiple beams to one single column. The setting is: I have two I-beams that need to be connected through pin-joints (free to rotate in x,y, and z direction) to a circular hollow section column. The way Karamba connects elements to one another is by connecting them end points to end points. In that manner, when I try to connect two beams to the column at the same elevation, the beams get connected in a fixed joint (because their end points are aligned). This is not what I intended to do. I wanted to separately connect the two beams to the columns through two individual pin joints on two sides of the column. Realistically, the two beams wouldn't even touch at all.

I know that beam-joint-agent can be used to fix this. However, I still need these beams (same beam id's) to be connected through a fixed joint in other parts of the model. Is there anyway I can connect these two beams separately to the column without them getting connected to each other?

In the picture below, you can see how one of the beams is inflicting a rotational bending moment on the other beam slightly due to how they are connected to each other.

Any comments/questions would be greatly appreciated and if anyone needs clarification feel free to ask me back questions.

Thank you.
