Question! retrieving a list index using an expression
can i do that? let's say i have a list that i would like to separate using the "List Item" component in order to insert certain item in certain inputs. the problem with that is clearly cosmetic as i would cram up my definition with a bunch of List Items. is there a way to insert the whole list through to my inputs and pick which index i need using an expression on each input?

Maybe. Expressions only work on simple data types and they cannot handle lists. However if you post the specifics of the selection scheme you're after we can have a look.
It may be a while until you get another response from me, I'm entertaining guests this weekend and don't have much time left over...
