pull point / push point

hi, i have problems with the some kind of attractor. i have a grid and some attractor curves which influence the gridpoints by an variable force. i did it by using the command "pull point" but acctualy i would need an "push point"command, so i tried to reverse the it but it doesn't work. as you can see in the first pic the gridlines constrict near the attractors but I want the opposite, there should be no ponit near the attractor...
i hope it's clear what i mean and somebody can help me.
