Hi,Is there someone that can explain me something about the proximity? I'm not talking about how the component works, but the theory behind it.i did not find anything on wiki and on Google.

I build a QuadTree of points in 2D proximity and an OcTree in 3D proximity in order to speed up successive closest point searches. By putting the sample points into a recursive tree I get to very quickly decide whether or not certain portions of the whole pointset can be safely ignored.
