Problems with paneling dia-grid from Lunchbox!?

Hello,

I want to panel a sphere with a repeating module. The module has a diamond shape, which explains why I begin with a dia-grid. I then put a surface box on the dia-grid cells, because I want the modules to morph to the surface.

However it doesn't work correclty, especially the direction of the module is messed up.

Can somebody help me out please. The files are attached!
