algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to use a closet point to trigger a loop.

My goal is to get a triangle edge offset from an edge a midpoint span point, extract start and end points and polyline the whole thing. From that triangle, doing the same thing creating another triangle and from there another ... this would then be a series of triangles all grouped at the same rotation angle defined by the surface normal.

I am getting anemone to work, however, it is not keeping the previous triangles (and surfaces), only cycling through the loops and giving me the last two.

It would also be great to have the rotation angle be variable.

Any suggestions and solutions would be helpful.
