Problem of selection!

Hello,

I have a grid of triangles and then I want to select the triangles by a closed curve. So the triangles in the curve are selected while those out of the curves are not.

I tried to find the area of the triangles and then use "Point in curves" to select them, but I failed. 

Anyone knows how can I deal with it?
