Problem creating a loft waffle, breps wont close

Hey guys, I was following a tutorial on the internet on creating a loft waffle:

the problem is, when you get to connecting the 'trim solid' components, whilst on the video you get closed breps, on my model you end up with opened breps and trimmed surfaces. As a result the 2d outlines abstracted from that dont make any sense.

Anyone able to help with this one?

Hi.

Instead of 'Trim Solid", try use 'Solid Difference(SDiff)" component.
