Preview component not using proper clipping box

I've created a component that previews meshes in the Rhino document, but as the meshes get larger, I notice that they get clipped. I put break points on the ClippingBox.get, but it doesn't break. Is there a function call that needs to happen to update Rhino so it uses the new clipping box.

I added a Mesh Sphere component with radius 10000 and the sphere gets clipped quite badly. When I delete the Mesh Sphere component, ClippingBox.get does get called and then my geometry gets displayed properly from then on.

What am I missing?
