Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi! Please someone help me with this one!

I modelled a luminaire using Grasshopper, but I had to use the "copy-paste-rotate technique", which doesn´t convince me at all. I´m sending an image of the definition, and as you can see, I repeated too many times the same components changing the rotation axis each time.

How can I make the same thing with less steps? Like Rhino´s "Polar Array" command, which sets an axis and the number of copies.

Thanks!

You can feed a list of rotation angles into the rotate component to do all rotations at once.
You can use one rotate component with multiples inputs (angle, rotation plane, etc), the rotate component will create a new geometry for every input.

To create the multiples angles, you can use a range component (domain from 0 to 360, with a slider in the steps) or a series component.
