Pointing Grasshopper to Rhino Layer Properties?

Working with Pachyderm acoustic software.

How do I properly tell this component where to look up layer properties in rhino?

I have attached an integer of "1" to the "GL" input but I dont think this is working.

Also, the component is throwing an error in search of the "RG" data, but it shouldn't be required.
