I'm trying to digitise a clay model using Rhino and I have been having difficulties figuring out how to attach numbers to the corresponding points. Please tell me if there is a simple trick to it. I have attached a photo of what I am trying to plot and my attempts at plotting the top middle area on Rhino.

I presume your are digitising the points in the same order as the labels in your photo. If this is so then the points in rhino will be arranged in a similar manner albeit that the list is reversed. Then if you import it into Grasshopper, you can then use the point list component under the Vector Tab. See the attached image.
Sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for your recommendations. I ended up plotting the points using a background image as a guide and labelling+grouping it with numbers (text) on a different layer. Without around 300 points it was definitely time consuming and didn't even turn out as accurate as I'd hoped for. But it was good practice I suppose... for what I don't know.
