I think it may be a bug. Somehow the font you're using is confusing the bit of code which calculates the size of the white box. Then when the text is actually drawn in the box it finds it's too small and gets trimmed.

I'm afraid you'll have to switch from [Point On Curve] to  a slider and [Evaluate Length].
